هدف از تحقیق حاضر بررسی اثربخشی تئاتر درمانی بر اضطراب ، سلامت روان و مشخصات شخصیتی جوانان مراجعه کننده به خانه فرهنگ اداره فرهنگ و ارشاد اسلامی شهر شیراز است. در این مطالعه از طریق روش نمونه گیری محقق محور انجام شد. در مجموع 15 نفر از جوانان مراجعه کننده به خانه فرهنگ اداره فرهنگ و ارشاد اسلامی شهر شیراز به روش نمونه گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. مصاحبه بالینی نیمه ساختاریافته بر اساس DSM-IV انجام شد. برای غربالگری بیماران از مقیاس GHQ-28 (پرسشنامه سلامت عمومی) و پرسشنامه اضطراب و خصوصیات شخصیتی بک استفاده شد. نتایج نشان داد که تئاتر درمانی بر سلامت روان جوانان مراجعه کننده به خانه فرهنگ اداره فرهنگ و ارشاد اسلامی شیراز و همچنین در کاهش اضطراب جوانان مراجعه کننده به خانه فرهنگ این اداره موثر است.
