هدف اصلی این مطالعه این بود که بررسی گردد آیا رابطه معناداری بین سبکهای یادگیری ، استراتژیهای نوشتن و اضطراب نوشتن زبان آموزان ایرانی وجود دارد یا خیر . بدین منظور ، 183 زبان آموز EFL که در سه موسسه در سطح عالی ،متوسط ​​و پیشرفته زبان انگلیسی تحصیل می کردند، براساس روش نمونه گیری غیر تصادفی  انتخاب شدند. آنها پرسشنامه خودآزمایی سبک یادگیری کلب (KLS) ، پرسشنامه استراتژیهای یادگیری نوشتن (ILS) و مقیاس اضطراب نوشتن زبان خارجی (FLWAS) را تکمیل کردند. با این حال ، پس از غربالگری اولیه ، 21 مورد کنار گذاشته شدند زیرا پاسخ آنها ناقص بود و 162 شرکت کننده در نمونه نهایی باقی ماندند. رابطه بین سبکهای یادگیری زبان آموزان ، راهبردهای نوشتن و اضطراب نوشتن با استفاده از ضریب همبستگی Spearman مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. از آنجا که ، نتایج نشان داد از نظر آماری روابط معناداری وجود دارد ، تجزیه و تحلیل رگرسیون چندگانه انجام شد تا بررسی شود آیا پیش بینی های قابل توجهی از اضطراب نوشتاری زبان آموزان EFL قابل شناسایی است یا خیر .  تجزیه و تحلیل ها نشان داد که سبک یادگیری عمل گرایانه از نظر آماری قوی ترین سهم را در پیش بینی اضطراب نوشتن دارد در حالی که سبک یادگیری فعال نتوانسته چنین سهم مهمی داشته باشد. نتایج نشان می دهد که هرچه سبک یادگیری ترجیحی عملی تر باشد ، اضطراب نوشتن پایین می آید. علاوه بر این ، تنها استراتژی نوشتن حافظه از نظر آماری سهم قابل توجهی در پیش بینی اضطراب نوشتن داشت در حالی که پنج استراتژی نوشتن دیگر این کار را نکردند. یادگیرندگانی که بیشتر از استراتژی های حافظه استفاده می کنند ، با سطح بالاتری از اضطراب نوشتن روبرو می شوند. بنابراین ، این مطالعه سبک یادگیری عملی و یادگیری استراتژی یادگیری را به عنوان پیش بینی کننده های مهم اضطراب نوشتن در زمینه EFL شناسایی کرد. در نتیجه ، این مطالعه نه تنها شواهد آماری از رابطه بین این متغیرها را ارائه می دهد بلکه بر اهمیت سبک های یادگیری زبان زبان آموزان و راهبردهای نوشتن برای اضطراب نوشتن آنها تأکید می کند.
